I suddenly became anxious
That light, how long
Will it remain green?

The light suddenly began to blink
Is it hurrying me along?
Before I knew it, I’d started
Walking faster, just a little

My intentions
Didn’t seem to matter
Everybody
Began to run at once
What are they running from and why the hurry? I laugh
As I look on objectively
I don’t like that part of myself

My decision was triggered
Not by logic
It always starts from an impulse of the heart
Don’t want to go along with the crowd
I keep resisting
To live is to make a choice

When I walk across the crosswalk
I always think
If only my heart had
A traffic signal like this

Go forward and then

If that was a rule
I could just go along without worrying

Instructions from somebody

青い色なんだろう？

ふいに点滅し始め
急かすのかな
いつの間にか　少し
早歩きになってた

自分の意思
関係ないように
誰も彼もみんな
一斉に走り出す
何に追われ焦るのか？と笑う
客観的に見てる私が
嫌いだ

決心のきっかけは
理屈ではなくて
いつだってこの胸の衝動から始まる
流されてしまうこと
抵抗しながら
生きるとは選択肢
たった一つを
選ぶこと

横断歩道　渡って
いつも思う
こんな風に心に
信号があればいい

進みなさい　それから
止まりなさい
それがルールならば
悩まずに行けるけれど…

誰かの指示
待ち続けたくない
走りたい時に
