Illuminating the world so pleasantly.
As I am right now, I’m so useless and hopeless…
Dreaming of the dawn, I’m just crawling around in circles on the floor.

Nonetheless, I want someone to find me –
I’m looking up to the sky as I scream!
I really wanna run away, but I can’t…
I can’t even imagine there being a bright future…

I rise up through the sky like a butterfly;
Flying up with these insufficient wings, I’m an ugly child of a star: a new moon.

Sleeping as it’s held in someone’s arms.
As I am right now, I’m crushed by nights I spend alone…
Unseen by all, I’m just crawling around in circles in the dead of night.

Nonetheless, I don’t want to lose to anyone –
I’m throwing a fit in a corner of the universe.
I wanna catch up to, wanna go beyond, ahh,
The kind of world I saw in my dreams!
But y’know, nonetheless I’m always comparing myself to others,
Looking around then stopping dead in my tracks.
I want to change the part of myself that searched for things I was lacking.

A chrysalis reaches its hand out with intent.
