When I took a deep breath, my heart raced, a dismal start to determinism
In that arena with no allies, my first step, mocked as hopeless
I’ve failed miserably so many times, my head always down on the way home
The relentless flashback scenes laugh, “You started this”
I felt I was getting better, had a bit of pride in doing well
But comfort, self-conceit, and arrogance never illuminate the path
This might be the last time, don’t take now for granted
No unfinished business, no words left unsaid, now onto the intro
An unknown entity, always risking it all, wandering alone
If stars fall, I intend to pick them up
It’s over for everyone, heads bowed down
The revealing dawn has come, turning our backs to the blazing sky
Let’s walk with our heads down, blue in the sky, a light shield in the heart
Things only seen here, unknown, are being chronicled
A nameless plot, not even the sun can illuminate
Call me negative, but I can’t fake where I come from
But if I can be accepted, good and bad together, there’s nothing better
If you want superficial “It’ll be okay”, look elsewhere
“I’m just not good enough” became my weapon, found in past works
An unidentified person, therefore formless, confronting tomorrow
Not hiding tears, a living being
It’s over for everyone, heads bowed down
The revealing dawn has come, turning our backs to the blazing sky
Let’s walk with our heads down, smiles to insults, ambition in our hearts
Things only seen here, unknown, are being chronicled
A nameless plot, not even the sun can illuminate
The admiration I looked up to was so bright, it burned my eyes, and I, crushed, fell to the bottom of a dream
Just sobbing, “That’s why” separated light from dark, a settlement of the past
Eventually, a worldview on life and death forms; this isn’t a movie, it’s life
It’s over for everyone, heads bowed down
The revealing dawn has come, turning our backs to the blazing sky
Let’s walk with our heads down, facing the mockery, with a trembling song
Things only seen here, unknown, are being chronicled
A nameless plot, not even the sun can illuminate
