It’s just arrived:
Tonight, a miracle flutters down from the sky.
It rested its wings upon a lonely shoulder and whispered thus:
“Better not cry!”
Everyone passes by at a quickened pace.
The view of the city seen beyond my white breath… seemed lovely, somehow.
The sadness from hurting someone close to me in the end…
And the person I love not being by my side… along with these sad memories—
They all begin to gently envelop me!
Everlasting snow:
A winter miracle — cover this city in white again this year!
With the candle of prayer, everyone lights a tiny fire in their hearts.
It’s just bright:
Everyone’s adoration for the season builds,
Breathing new color into the city… as bells ring out, carrying those feelings along.
“Better not pout!”
My merry dreams leave footsteps in their wake,
Adorned with red ribbons: surely, that’s the form a wish takes.
Then, the fact that those repetitive days are already long gone…
And that yesterday was spent stumbling and crying over a situation I’d made for myself… seem so precious;
They all begin to gently envelop me!
The everlasting now:
Looking up to the night sky, let’s pause the time we’ve spent hurting one another!
From beside me someone says, “You’re not alone”… giving birth to a tiny miracle.
Erasing the mundane scenery, snow falls…
As if wishing happiness upon the world.
Lovers sing in the city at night:
Let it snow… Happy holiday!
Everlasting snow:
A winter miracle — cover this city in white again this year!
With the candle of prayer, everyone lights a tiny fire in their hearts.
