The night it was discovered
That I’d disobeyed the King’s order… you were laughing.
Atop a hill where we could touch the aurora,
You reached out both your hands, beckoning me.
Like scattered beads from a broken necklace, stars filled the night sky.
“How beautiful”, we said, as if they were presents on high.
Without ever showing his true face,
The court jester disappeared one day… as if it were all a joke.
The world still spins today, seemingly effortless…
Though even at its current speed, our tears will still dry.
The reason your dreams will come true,
Isn’t because of someone else.
You always chose the right days to run,
Whenever the wind was at its strongest.
I wonder what you’re doing right now.
I imagine you looking away shyly
And end up wanting to see it for real!
The reason your dreams will come true,
Isn’t because of someone else.
You always chose the right days to run,
Whenever the wind was at its strongest.
Even if you can’t fly, it doesn’t bring you down—
The ground still continues on endlessly.
So go wherever you please!
If anyone can do it, I’m sure it’s you.
