The invincible soldier fell in front of me
The crown roared and I realized I had won.
This isn’t how it was suppose to end.

I used to be a scoundrel,
Slitting throats and splattering blood.
I had no choice;
I had to do this to stay alive.
One day I found a bag of gold,
But my brother beat me
And took it away.
I was living a horrible life with nowhere to go.
And then you came along.

You were an invincible soldier and no one could win against you.
Anyone who dared against you was killed.
My brother kept shouting to everyone not to flinch in front of you.

And then his blood splattered in front of my eyes.
It was a quick and easy job for you.
My frightened brother tried to run
But it was too late.
You come from behind him and it’s done, you slay him.
Taking the treasures from his corpse,
You turn to me and ask,
“Are you hurt? You’re okay now. Can you go home on your own?”

That day, I decided to join you in your journey.
My plan was to steal your tricks and learn from you. Afterwards, I was going to start my life all over again on my own.

We spent so much time together. We saw the world together.

My cover was blown on the day
My old instincts came out.

The shopkeeper excitedly showed me his sword and I tried to snatch it.

The man found out and I knew it wasn’t good so I took out my sword.
As he turned away, I killed him.
It’s been a while since I felt this kind of sensation.
But how unfortunate.

その日からあたしは弟子入りをしてついて流離った
すべての技を盗んでまたひとりからやり直そうという計画だった

同じもの見て　長い時間過ごした

長年染みついた手癖の悪さからだった

店主が鼻息荒く見せつける剣を盗もうとした

気づかれた　これはやばい　まずい
剣を抜き　振り返りざま
切りつけた　倒した　久々の感触
運の尽き　あなたが見てた
覚悟した　兄貴のように
殺される問答無用
あなたはこう告げた
｢この僕と決闘しろ　道は自分で切り開け｣

歓声の中　倒れたあなたを見た
