When you get a fever, you notice the fact you have a body,
And when your nose gets stuffed up, you realize that you’d been breathing up till now.
You verify your existence in so many ways,
But you don’t know it’s true value until you die.
The moment you reject the hand that reached out to you, a grand earthquake may occur,
The moment you defend the hand that reached out to you, you may find you’re only trying to protect yourself.
It may seem like second nature to cling to your existence,
But you actually just can’t let go because you’re too afraid.

If you try talking with people, you realize that no one’s saying anything with their words,
And, if you piece them all together, you realize there are nothing but feelings we want to share.
Your existence can be filled with many such expressions,
But a true “thank you” can’t be expressed with words.

Within the time our clocks have allotted, at least once,
I’d like to grasp the truth… and communicate it.
If you try counting the years you’ve lived, you notice that, however slight, you’ve had a history,
And almost at the same time, you notice that it too will come to an end.
You can remember your existence at any time,
But what you truly want isn’t memories, but the present.
After I’ve forgotten you, I’ll remember… that you and I shared a history,
And after I’ve lost you, I’ll discover… that the two us had actually met.
No one’s existence has meaning in this world,
But in someone else’s world, it exists, and can be create.
You verify your existence in so many ways,
But true existence is when, even after you’re gone, you remain right here.
Our clocks will continue moving without motion.
