Wet shirt and wet cheeks… the asphalt;
My road home is just a bit more lonely than usual.
Even the tiny flowers that bloom next to the railway,
Are swaying their frozen bodies!
And you’re there too, looking so bright – so much more beautiful than you were the day before!
Giving a kiss to the wind, I can keep on walking; I’m doing just fine!
More so than yesterday, there’s surely a definite, brightly shining tomorrow to be found there,
So let’s decorate the sky with bouquets of that flower… whose name we’ve yet to know!
Scattered clouds and a post-rain sky… roadside trees;
My road home is just a bit more lovely than usual.
The second I recognize the scent of rain, it travels farther away –
By the time it vanishes, I’ll be missing it dearly!
And there’s something beating in my heart, much more certain than my heartbeat!
The sky is so moody, but it’s not all that uncommon; I’m doing just fine!
All the tears I shed up ’til now- All the feelings I couldn’t put to words-
I’ll entrust them to song, saying my goodbye: a song about love that no one even knows!
Any umbrella that’s been given to me, I no longer have need for –
The false courage I’ve kept wrapped around my heart will surely become a newfound strength!
And you’re there too, looking so bright – so much more beautiful than you were the day before!
Giving a kiss to the wind, I can keep on walking; I’m doing just fine!
There’s something beating in my heart, much more certain than my heartbeat!
Even that rainbow is moody – a wonderful scene; I’m doing just fine!
All the tears I shed up ’til now- All the feelings I couldn’t put to words-
I’ll entrust them to song, saying my goodbye: a song about rain that no one even knows!
