Birds spreading their wings through the skies of a closed off world,
Seek the faintest bit of light shining through.
Words I once heard repeat over and over…
And I’m believing them,
Because our promise will surely be fulfilled.

An incessantly downpour strikes my cheeks;
The drops that hid my tears were posing questions as you turned your back.

A tiny shadow of the dream I held so long,
Believes in an end to these clouds
Until even hope is shined upon!

The dream sought,
By this arm that breaks through hesitation,
Is fixed on nothing but the future.
My way, amidst the darkness…

Believe in that light!

When I look back, I see a single bird,
Who’s attained the freedom I’ve been seeking all along.
It aims for the far off sky, far above the rain clouds –
Holding my admiration close, I waved a hand in silence.

The flapping of solitude’s wings cuts through the wind;
I fixed my eyes on a wish accelerating powerfully,
As if it was shaking everything free!

A tiny shadow breaking through this headwind,
Is always believing,
Until these tears finally dry.

I don’t mind if what awaits at the end of this dream of rising wishes,
Is regret at our parting.
My way, I see a dream,
(I heard about your screaming)
Of your voice growing further away.

I search out a shining sign within the darkness,
Where at the end of the path I fumble my way along,
I can feel your voice waiting.

If we can meet at the end of this far-off wish,
I’ll always be believing,
Until the light shines through.

Watching closely,
This dream that breaks through hesitation,
I’m fixated upon the breaks in the clouds.
