Walls stood in my way at every turn,
So I lived on, fumbling along!

The red sky stretches out my shadow;
It’s still so unreliable and selfish –

Even if our strides are different and our breaths out of sync,

When I stopped to look at what I’d missed, I was simply left behind!

I’ll simply wipe those tears away –
I’ve made up my own reason!
I understand now, that’s why I’m going.
I still get scared sometimes and trip up;
I’m actually shaking.
In order to take you back, I’m gonna fight!

“Stand up and face it”
“I’m not scared”
“You’re here”
“I’m right here”
“Wait for me”
“No problem”
“I won’t lose”
“I believe it”

So step on in and start moving onward –
Laugh until you’re heard!

A screaming voice that just won’t come out,
Is trembling within my chest.
I get it now, that’s why I’m gonna fight.
I’m not alone now – my chest feels so hot;
