Yesterday I noticed
When I went out for a walk
The shoes I always wear have grown too small
Maybe it’s something to laugh about
You, looking at the sea,
Looked somewhat more adult
Which one is a treasure?
What is the thing you like?
You realize it when you lose it
It’s probably hidden
Under the ordinary sky
Again, the sun comes up
Tying my ribbon with a butterfly knot
It still feels warm
The dream the girl dreamed
Don’t stop, let’s go
Let’s go in the direction where the light comes from
We won’t return
We hold hands, golden ray
We’re still together, we’re still together
Don’t stop, let’s go
Let’s go in the direction we wish to go
We chose this very small golden ray
We’re still together, we’re still together after all
And so, we knew
That the silhouette of the light
Was the only, only thing that was wrong
Even if it were to be torn of,
It couldn’t be hindered
The stardust was
Drawn along with the evening breeze
Left behind,
The stars kept on shining
Let’s keep on going, while lost
Let’s go in the direction where the light comes from
If we believe,
We can’t be interrupted, golden ray
It couldn’t do anything but go on beyond
Convinced to be illuminated
By the golden light
If I would try to touch it with my hands
If I would try open my eyes to it
My heart would be shining the same way
Don’t stop, let’s go
Let’s go in the direction where the light comes from
We won’t return
We won’t go back, golden ray
We’re still together, we’re still together
The shoes I wore
I said goodbye to them
Our lives are like burning golden rays
I won’t stop, but I’ll be waiting for you
