Let’s go to the sea tonight.
A flashlight gently lights the way.
Tomorrow will be too late;
It’ll already be too late for you.
Let’s go to the sea tonight.
Just beyond the wall.
Even a warm blanket,
Is far from being able to warm you.
Everyone eventually fades away,
But how do we become aware of it…
… or any feeling other than anxiety?
Everything is a figment of our imaginations,
But what the hell’s wrong with that?!
So relax your shoulders,
And I’ll say, “Let’s go to the sea”,
Reciting the same thing every day… until someday…
Let’s go to the sea;
That’s where our nightmare will end.
The wind is in a rage.
My heart cries out, thunderously!
The pain in my chest is an old friend –
“I hope we can stay good friends from here on out”.
Everyone eventually fades away,
But how will you become aware of it…
… or any feeling other than anxiety?
Everything is a figment of our imaginations,
But we keep on living anyway!
So relax your shoulders,
And I’ll say, “Let’s go to the sea”,
Reciting the same thing every day… until someday…
Let’s go to the sea;
That’s where our nightmare will end.
I don’t think anyone really knows…
… of a feeling that’s actually real;
Everything is a figment of our imaginations!
But what the hell’s wrong with that?!
So relax your shoulders,
And I’ll say, “Let’s go to the sea”,
Reciting the same thing every day… until someday…
Let’s go to the sea;
That’s where our nightmare will end.
