Why do we breathe, wearing away at our hearts
Even at such a sad distance, close enough to touch each other
Our hearts, our emotions slip through our fingers
Yet we lived on, unaware of it
We’re overtaking the future, even if no one wants to
We’re heading for the end—the same one’s been prepared for all of us
Forever searching for the reason our lives blaze so
We’re searching for a reason beyond miracles, beyond unease, beyond regret
“Not now” “This is just the beginning”
Dawn broke as the complaints spilled out
I was so scared of opposing that “now”
That there was no way the one I wanted would appear
I understood that, I realized it
But I still lamented,
“Why won’t anything change?”
All things are in flux, no matter how we try to live our lives
At some point, we’ll be gone; our feelings of love will turn to loneliness
But yet, we’ll always, surely find ourselves in love with someone
Our loneliness, completely transformed
Is waiting for a morning when we can love again
Even if I’m here from innumerable endings
Even if the destination of my beginnings is predetermined
I don’t want to lose anyone else, anything else
Parting, Loss—this is my final farewell to you both
We’re overtaking the future
We’re heading for the end
So we won’t stop, so we won’t cease
We’re making kindling of our unpleasant past
Let’s forge on, holding our lit flames aloft
We’re casting light; even the shadows have joined our side
Thinking we won’t make it, our struggling forms are, above all, beautiful
Forever searching for the reason our lives blaze so
All things come to an end
It’s not fate… it’s our choice
