I drag a bright red curtain,
Entering this stage to the sound of cheering voices.

All is a drama of pre-established harmony,
Like a painting
Without a single flaw.

The moment a single letter is left out, the whole conclusion will change,
To a shocking degree.

That’s the essence of a tale.

Ambition, greed… hidden in the night.
Release it all… before the morning comes!
Feathers fall… innocently.
What color shall they take on? White? Black?
I don’t know. I want to know.
An ostinato echoes throughout.

I have no more need for uncertain days.

I draw a border through an uncertain sky—
At early dusk, when the trees are sleeping.
The wind carries away the next scenario
As it searches for the lead role.

Even at the end of my performance, the cheering doesn’t end.
Calls for an encore will not cease,
For as long as this life persists.

This era form a loose spiral:
Is it a tragedy? A comedy?
Come now, take your pick.

In the second it takes to blink, the forecast will change.
The darkness is a sea of stars…
That too, is a tale.

A desire to cling to life, a dream… born of the morning.
Pierce through… overturning the night.
Bathing in the spotlight… that burns your body.
What color should the finale be? White? Black?
Show me with your performance!
An obbligato pours on into tomorrow.
The past holds its tongue. The future acts up.
I have no need for a worn-out script.

Loosening a single thread of this bound fate, I pull at the other strings.
It appeared to depict a double helix as a blaze was lit within my soul.

Hidden ambition…

A bel canto dawn begins… as I slice through the curtain.

The finale that eventually plays will feature white, black, morning, and night:
A blending capriccioso.
But all the seats are empty now.
