The sun came flying down into the city.
The hazy, red world it created was so beautiful.
The noisy voices of people passing by
Distort inside my eardrums, like a blockbuster hit!
Wishing to be relevant… in an irrelevant, disconnected world,
I’m addicted to peering down from above, like a ghost—
I’m still trying to make out my own silhouette!
Y’know,
Within those eyes that wished for a tragedy, I’m searching for a place to return to.
In a city full of imitations, I’m seeking something to believe in.

I want to have a conversation using real words… with our real voices…

The sun climbed high into the sky.
The world began to glimmer, but appeared monochrome.
As if being sucked into a repetitive cycle,
No matter how much I struggle, there’s still no way out today!
People walking through the city are all so expressionless, when in fact they’re really full of distortion.
If they could just break that shell they’re keeping up
And let it all out at once…
On the other side of those coldly smiling eyes, just what were you trying to grasp?
Amid pages filled with nonsense, I yell, wearing my true face.

If you have something to say, show yourself!

Not just on a screen—raise your voice!
Unable to sacrifice each moment, each sound,
I want to live, burning this life bright!
So let’s seek out… with our five senses,
The kind of pain and joy that make precious tears overflow—
The feeling… the force… of being able to say, “I’m alive!”
Y’know,
Within those eyes that wished for a tragedy, I’m searching for a place to return to.
In a city full of imitations, I’m seeking something to believe in.

I’ll shine my light, declaring war!
