When the silence of passing cars left me alone
I felt a slight rage felt towards those far-off mountains whose name I don’t know

The man I was then surely seemed odd to you

I didn’t take up the pen just because I wanted to place my flower in this era

I was given a cigarette for the first time in a while, and when I took a drag from the veranda
The midday moon looked like it was moving, and all my worries vanished

The children returning home through puddles, with roughly closed umbrellas
“They’re all just like me”
But you won’t smile

消えない嘘を見破っていつか突き放してくれ
