Candy dyed with you overlaps these turning pages:
I want to play a melody of us as one!
I can’t really call “adolescence by the books” the true nature of youth…
It’s a bit different from my ideal,
But with you here, the scenery melts away sweetly…
Beneath my school uniform, I hide a secret gaze.
It’s a gentle flavor I can’t show to anyone else,
“And ya know, I just want you to hear it.”
I just can’t hide it any longer – it comes pouring out!
In the depths of my torn heart, the throbbing known as love,
Is enveloped in polka-dot tears.
Is this spell going to be broken?
But I won’t let it be reduced to nothing –
This shining world you gave me!
The bell rings out and I burst from my classroom at 9AM,
Rushing to hide alone in the back of the library.
“Is the fact there’s a limit to the candy in our cheeks,
The reason they seem to make us shine so bright?”
You smiled when I said that.
I won’t wish for a happy ending;
Only for our two shadows, wavering in light through the trees.
If we could just overlap as one…
But even 0.1 seconds passes so painfully,
And I just can’t wait!
I take a wrapper with “Love” written in tiny letters,
And twist it off at both ends,
Before carefully putting it in my pocket.
A little spell, >○< hoping it makes its way to you!
The last page will someday visit upon us,
And I don’t want regrets about a place that can’t last forever.
Before we melt and fade away,
I want to carve out the proof that You × I were here…
Over and over, I bit at this sweet, bitter feeling –
Even if it’s not anything like a Cinderella Story,
This throbbing known as you,
Was a magic that changed me;
This wavering heart you gave me!
It’s no lie – I loved so much,
That shining world that no one knew.
