I continue on endlessly,
Having no idea where I may end up;
A question mark is constantly controlling my mind.

Sadness, happiness – which do I have more of?
Whether I have talent or not… the outcomes of my efforts…

Comparing to others, I swing between joy and melancholy –
Positivity and negativity repeating in a cycle.
By mixing in hope and assigning numbered values,
I’m trying to find out how much I’m worth.

No one could possibly know –
No one could ever possibly measure it;
The answer to my question has already been reached, but I just can’t accept it.

Territories… communities… are they righteous or wicked?
With everyone planting their sense of values, I lose sight of what’s really “normal”.

Tortured by my sense of inferiority and helplessness,
I despised myself for being overconfident.
Am I too sensitive? Too dull? Neither?
I want to take an opportunity in all this confusion to just disappear!

No one could possibly know –
There’s no way everyone of us can be perfect.
If that’s the case… why do we end up putting on a show, covering up our mistakes?

Is everyone more calculating than me?
Or are they simply even more defenseless?
Are they hiding the same question,
Behind their composed faces?

No one could possibly know –
That’s all we really need to know, I’m sure.
This chain reaction of questions will go on and on, as long as we live!

What awaits us on the far end of this horizon,
Is surely not despair!
So fill your chest with pride and go forth – we don’t need an answer!

行き着く先もわからないまま
疑問符がずっと　頭を支配してる

悲しみ　喜び　どちらが多いか？
才能のあるなし　努力の結末

人と比べ　一喜一憂して
肯定　否定　繰り返して
希望交えて　点数つけ
自分の価値を知ろうとしてる

誰にもわからない
誰にも測れやしないんだ　絶対
疑問の答えは　出てるのに割り切れない

テリトリー　コミュニティー　正義か悪か
価値観　植えつけ合って「普通」を見失う

劣等感　無力感　苛まれて
自信過剰を蔑んで
敏感？鈍感？どっちでもない？
混乱に乗じて消えたい！

誰にもわからない
誰しも完璧じゃないんだ　絶対
それなのにどうして見栄を張り　繕ってしまう？

誰もがもっと計算してるの？
それとも　もっと無防備なの？
平然とした顔のその裏
同じ疑問　抱いてるの？

誰にもわからない
それだけわかってればいいんだ　絶対
疑問の連鎖は　生きてく限り続く　ずっと

地平線の果て
待つのは絶望じゃないんだ　絶対
胸を張って進め　答えはなくてもいい
