As I pass through this season,
With the same friends, in the same place,
I expect that things will stay the same forever,
Unaware that things are about to change.

My predictable daily routines,
Become precious to me,
When I feel the flapping of my wings.
But I won’t fear it, I have to be true to myself.

If my trembling hands were to open the window,
To an unknown tomorrow, I wonder what I’d see?
A lightly bouncing melody comes welling up.

If I see the skies twinkle, I’ll look up;
The scenery there will reflect in my eyes and I’ll take off running.

Just looking at each others’ innocent faces,
We could talk forever and never run out of things to say.
But if we go silent and allow time to pass,
We’ll suddenly seem like we’re already adults.

It’s not like I’m especially sad,
But I feel the urge to cry… I wonder why?
If I could just find the words to say…

I’ve already begun to change;
A vibrant universe is spinning ’round and ’round, calling out to me.
It beckons to a shining world, no matter how unequipped I am.

When I see the stars smiling back at me, I’ll reach out my hand,
Letting loose the uncertainty in my heart;

I’ll draw a distant dream using a myriad of colors.

I’d like to try playing this melody I’d been searching for.

When the wind blows through, I’ll head toward the future,
And my new self, one I can be proud of, will break into a run.

Mentre attraverso questa stagione,
Con gli stessi amici, nello stesso posto,
Mi aspetto che le cose restino le stesse per sempre,
Ignara che tutto sta per cambiare.

La mia prevedibile routine giornaliera,
Diventa preziosa per me,
Quando sento lo sbattere delle mie ali.
Ma non ne sarò spaventata, devo essere sincera con me stessa.

Se le mie mani tremanti dovessero aprire la finestra,
Ad un domani sconosciuto, mi chiedo cosa vedrei?
Una leggera melodia saltellante scaturisce.

Se vedo i cieli luccicare, guarderò in alto;
Quello scenario si rifletterà nei miei occhi e inizierò a correre.

Solo guardando ai visi innocenti l’un dell’altro,
Potremmo parlare per sempre e non finire mai gli argomenti di cui discutere.
Ma se rimaniamo in silenzio e lasciamo che il tempo passi,
Ci sembrerà all’improvviso di essere già adulti.

Non è che sia particolarmente triste,
Ma sento il bisogno di piangere… Mi chiedo perché?
Se solo potessi trovare le parole da dire…

Ho già iniziato a cambiare;
Un universo vivace sta girando ancora e ancora, chiamandomi.
Convoca un mondo scintillante, non importa quanto disarmata io sia.

Quando vedo le stelle mi sorridono di ritorno, allungherò la mia mano,
Lasciando andare l’incertezza nel mio cuore;

Disegnerò un sogno distante con una miriade di colori.

Se le mie mani tremanti dovessero aprire la finestra,
Ad un domani sconosciuto, mi chiedo cosa vedrei?
Mi piacerebbe suonare questa melodia che ho cercato.

Quando il vento soffia attraverso, mi dirigerò verso il futuro,
E la nuova “me”, una della quale possa essere orgogliosa, inizierà a correre.
