I finally notice
That I can’t help but trip. “Don’t walk any further!”
Any further will be a waste of steps.
“Take a quick break!”
I intended to keep it short, but it turned into an extended leave
In the process of plugging in
And pulling out,
“My morning is complete.”
Without a s-second’s hesitation, yank it out: transformation complete.
I’m sure you’ve never seen something so spectacular!
Oh, w-whoa, I might have hurt your feelings a bit,
But I don’t have fuel to waste on the likes of you.
The truth is, I’m really quite conceited.
Next time, don’t be so quick to judge me.
You can get pissed about it,
‘Cause you’ll eventually forgive me anyway.
I’ll just excuse you in advance.
I won’t involve myself with how things once were.
All that useless energy
Will become a light to shine upon me!
A-Ah, it seems you at least make a quick escape. How admirable!
Though I don’t really have a desire to chase you.
After all, the thing I’m best at is reducing cost.
Please just remember me well in the next life.
I finally notice
A nagging murmur saying, “Don’t reach out any further!”
Any further will be a waste.
“Take a quick break!”
Trying to stare down a hopeless little girl,
Your gaze is quite nice to behold.
In the next life, be sure to “See right through me with those eyes.”
Careful steps, soft steps, stealthy steps,
Always at the same tempo.
It’s a complete letdown.
To tell you the truth,
I thought you were bolder than that.
I’m disappointed.
I was starting to have trouble breathing,
But this isn’t fair, and it’s no joke!
I wanted to put you in your place,
But it seems I’ve gotten too strong—
I can hold it all in now!
You can get pissed about it,
‘Cause I’ll forget soon anyway.
I shall excuse you in advance.
None of these problems are worth worrying about.
I’ll transform all of that energy
Into a light that shines upon me as I move on
And on
