Seeking traces of the dried sea,
I imagine a shore I’ve yet to see.
“If my heart was to have remain trapped,
I could have never known of this pain.”
What wonderful words someone once said.
Without even waiting for daybreak, we swam beyond the end.
The song of insects was restless.
A memory I heard together with you.
Simply joining hands,
Even in an incomplete color… or in a far-off country…
This dream was born from a momentary chapter.
So let us go on to embrace it.
We can’t remain like children forever,
Oblivious to knowledge
When someday we’ll all melt away,
Becoming a part of this world.
Like a tiny cocoon,
We roll into a ball, feeling reassured.
Praying for nothing
But sleep…
We’re amidst time and an abandoned garden that will eventually collapse.
With no way to stop it, I’ll simply live in this moment with you.
Grasping each others’ hands tightly,
We can choose any door we please.
With determined eyes, we look onward. We smile.
That image of us is everything.
“Listen closely. I can hear the tide…”
