The ring of a beginning, with the sound of a key,
As I grow up going along with the flow.

These days spent running in high spirits,
Will someday grow farther away;
I hope we can take the answer we found here,
And find somewhere to pass it on.

We can become a light that shines upon,
The crowds of people wandering aimlessly;
Up in the swaying sky: from the sun’s rise to the night’s first star.
If I look behind, I can see familiar scenery,
While you’re by my side, looking ever onward.
Beyond this place wrapped in a green belt,
We seek a tomorrow that continues onward.

In the bookshelves lining our library,
We leave the unknown behind as we fly on.

Returning home along that same road,
The things we each realize are different;
If we can take those feelings that sometimes differ,
Ahh… and accept them with a smile…

We were simply being protected there…
Just like the day birds begin their migration,
What lies beyond this expansive green will surely open wide for us!

With our expanding silhouettes in constant flux,
Light will shine through, clearing our hearts,
As we head toward a sun peaking through mist on high.
Those after-school voices we took for granted,
Can still be heard next to us.
As the wind blows fiercely through this noisy city,
The courage to move on is within my heart.
