If I breathe into this formless world,
I’ll be born again.
I’m scattered all about this room, ’cause my heart is like broken glass,
But I’ll wrap it all up nicely and give it to you, so pick whichever one piece you like.
Amongst the fragments of these average days is something unforgettable,
But no matter how many times you try to hold it tight, it’ll slip away before you even notice.
When I held this transparent glass up to the light, I saw a vague scenery beyond,
As a shining world unbeknownst to you and I came bending through.
There are little beads of happiness decorating our lives,
But whenever you try to find them, they always slip right through your outstretched hand.
It looks like there’s nothing there, but if I place my hand there, I can feel it clearly;
Hidden amongst these average days is a place that I belong.
Within this scenery that seems to go on forever, without change,
As long as I’m searching for something, it will never be lost… so I’d like to stay here a bit longer.
When I held this transparent glass up to the light, I saw a vague scenery beyond,
That is now expanding my view in each direction it bends.
From the words that come spilling out, I’ll learn of a version of myself I never knew before,
And if the place you belong ends up being next to me, a shining world will be born.
Shining, shining.
