There’s something at work
Beneath this scab.
So I’ll wait just a little longer.
Whatever it is will surely see me reborn.
Things I have trouble dealing with
Always chase me endlessly
While I’m dreaming.
I already devoured all my white blood cells,
Leaving no trace behind.
I’ll fill every single cell in my body
With a desire to protect
The people I love. The ones who make me who I am.
Everything we see in the mirror
Turns out just as we intend.
We’re the ones who decide
The things that come and go.
When was it
That I became who I am now?
What am I even capable of doing?
I’ll go to see my many beloved people
Scattered all around the world.
I want to confirm these feelings.
Gathering one person, two people,
Three, four, five, six and that’s not all, I’ll find more!
Though finding out the truth is very painful sometimes.
This world still has, even now,
So much more—I’m sure—from here on out—
So many things that make it worthwhile!
