We are lurking in the midst of glory and emptiness
Feeding our impulses in vain
The fresh, resonating innocent sound
Smoldering with impurity

Sharpened to the point of resentment, being oddly timid towards the light
Concealing the swaying blue flames, like a distorted rhythm
So that we will not forget

The sorrowful blade nurtured by loneliness
