In a corner of the world where I couldn’t get an answer
We, who didn’t even have a form yet
We wanted to be recognized by someone.
I banned the school from my heart and kept chasing after it.

Like the hero of our dreams, we just kept looking up.
I couldn’t remain a child.
I couldn’t accept the fact that I couldn’t become an adult who could endure pain.
I couldn’t accept it.

Resisting the fate of being trapped in this darkness.
Believing in the hope that lies beyond my desperate reach.
I didn’t want the story to end with a picture book.
I prayed that one day…
“I prayed.”

I prayed that someday I could change it.
I made up my mind to celebrate this world.
My decaying voice will be drowned out.
Until then, just, just!

Breathe in, connect the sound, and shed a tear!
I’ll see the story of hope through to its end, its dream…
We’ll see it through.

I heard someone’s wish to change the world.
Even with all the vows I’ve fulfilled.
I still believe in the future.

But the truth is…
I’ve been turning a blind eye to the fact that I can’t change.
And I’m sure I’m blaming it on…

I was sad about that, and wanted to deny it.
I wanted to change “someone” with my right hand.

All I could do was watch.

答えを得られなかった世界の片隅で
まだ、形すらなかった僕たちは

この闇に囚われる運命に抗い、

だけど、本当は…
自分は変われないことに目を背けていたんだ。
そしてその矛先を、きっと
「誰か」のせいにしていたんだと思う。

それが悲しくて、否定したくて、
遺された右手の確かな反撥で、
「誰か」を変えたいんじゃない。
見ることしかできなかった

「僕自身」なんだ。

空白の果てに　薄れゆく夢を
言葉にして　今なら届くと
叫ぶ

その夢の果てに　答えを求めて
いつの日にか　必ず形にすると

約束の果てに　書き連ねてきた
言葉が今　届くと信じて
語り継いでいく
