Getting ready for my “Good morning” audition,
My hair is looking spot-on!
I gotta try harder on Fridays,
‘Cause I won’t get to see you for two more days!

At 8:00, in the second car… I’m in my favorite, front-row seat.
The person beside me sure looks sleepy. Every day is the same.
At 8:07, the door across from me opens up, taking my breath away.
Those words I was almost able to say have run away again today.

The thing I have to do is so simple, but I’m totally spineless.
I have to overcome this test of courage! I can’t run away!

I have to try my hardest on Fridays,

I’m looking at you, noticing how sleepy you are,
And finding myself satisfied with just that…
But that’s no good! “I’ve gotta try harder,”
I tried telling myself out loud.

At 8:00, in the second car, my seat was already taken.
I’m so unlucky today… even the sky looks about to cry.
At 8:07… ah, wait a second! I’m not ready yet! My heart won’t calm down…
As become a trembling mess, those words get drowned out.

Later, I was taking cover from the rain. “Use my umbrella,” you said.
Seeming the slightest bit embarrassed, you averted your eyes.

“Thank you.” I was shaking,
But I managed to say words I hadn’t even practiced! So I have to try harder!
‘Cause I won’t get to see you for two more days!
I can’t let myself be satisfied with just looking at you,
The one I love.
“I’ve gotta try harder on Monday,”
I tried telling myself out loud.

I can talk to you so naturally in my dreams…
I’ll overcome this test of courage, so please wait just a little longer…!

隣の人眠そうですね そんな日常
8:07 開くのは向かいのドア息を呑む
言いかけてた”その言葉”は今日も逃げた

きっかけシンプルでいいのに意気地ないな
勇気のテスト乗り越えなきゃ 逃げるなって･･･

おはようのオーディションして
弱虫な自分に勝って
金曜日は頑張らなくちゃ
だって2日会えないからね
眠そうな君を見てる
それだけで満足しちゃって
ダメだって「頑張らなくちゃ」
そっと声に出してみた

8:00 2車両目座られてた特等席
ついてないな 空模様まで泣きそうです
8:07 準備まだ、ちょっと待ってドキドキが･･･
震え混じり”その言葉”はかき消された

雨宿り立ち尽くす僕に「傘をどうぞ」
君は少し恥ずかしそうに下を向いた

「ありがとう」震えていた
練習してない言葉言えたから頑張らなくちゃ
だって2日会えないからね
大好きな君を見てる
それだけじゃ満足しなくて
月曜日頑張らなくちゃ
そっと声に出してみた

夢では自然に話せるのに
勇気のテスト乗り越えるから少し待ってて
