I want to wipe away all my sorrow in this moment –
A dream of the future I saw in a darkened world.
As I chase falling white birds to a black forest,
They disappear in the shadows of tree groves – the color of fresh grass.
Fleeting spring rays of sunlight… scents of flowers I’d chased…
I wander through the seasons’ shadows in a barefoot maze.
The scars I’d tried to vaguely hide,
And the warmth I’d always searched for,
Overlap in a plucked wreath of orchids;
A sorrowful indigo.
I want to wipe away all my sorrow in this moment –
A dream of the future I saw in a darkened world.
But even if I stretch out my arms, I can’t reach the sky,
Even days abandoned slipping straight through.
I want to sing a song filled with nothing but emptiness –
Of light flowing through the water’s surface and swaying flowers.
Silence alone watches over me,
So I close my eyes and simply fall to sleep.
The darkness of night that I approached drinks in everything;
Colors of memories begin to disappear into the flow.
Our mistakes wound us both –
A sorrow known by the name of “fiction”.
The orchid petals scattered about,
Are the indigo of beautiful tears.
I want to wipe away all my memories –
I want to expose my body to the freezing waterfront.
If even the having dreams will not be granted,
These decorative flowers can just wilt away.
Hey, if today exists for the purpose of tomorrow,
What will you offer up for your lost future?
The night is still unceasingly watching over us,
Not bothering to extend a helping hand…
I want to wipe away all my sorrow in this moment –
A dream of the future I saw in a darkened world.
But even if I stretch out my arms, I can’t reach the sky,
Even days abandoned slipping straight through.
I want to sing a song filled with nothing but emptiness –
Of light flowing through the water’s surface and swaying flowers.
Silence alone watches over me,
So I close my eyes and simply fall to sleep.
The awoken melody of the forest… consists solely of my vanishing heartbeat…
