The bizarre and unbelievable scenery was more honest
Than any reality, and you smiled with a lonely face
Saying “It would be nice if the world were like this”

Next to the painting that no one understood
When we leaned together, lonely and peacefully
The stars that only we could see
Vividly revolved around us

You, wearing down your heart with trivial anxieties
Were too gentle to paint on this Earth

As the colors increased on the palette, the color of pus became vivid
And as the canvas size expanded, my own hands felt short

The emptiness that couldn’t be helped
And the sky of the painting remained as it was then

Holding the painting that no one understood
When we cried until our minds went mad

ずっと街の外れで君はひとりきりで
天動説の地球の空を描いていた

ヘンテコでありえない景色は　どんな現実よりも素直で
「こんな世界だったら良いのにね」と　寂しい顔で笑ってくれた

誰にも理解らないその絵のそばで
寂しく安らかに寄り添った時
ふたりに見えていた星たちだけが
ふたりを中心に鮮やかに回っていた

些細な憂いで心を擦り減らす君は
この地球で絵を描くには優しすぎた

パレットに色が増えるたびに　膿の色も鮮やかになり
キャンバスのサイズが広がるたびに　自分の手が短く感じていた

どうにもならなかった虚しさと
絵の空だけがあの時のまま

誰にも理解らない絵をひとり抱いて
気が触れるまで涙した時
ふたりに見えていた星たちだけが
ふたりを中心に鮮やかに回っていた
