Feuer! Sperrfeuer! Los!
Achtung! Deckung! Hinlegen! Halt!
Feuer! Sperrfeuer! Los!
Achtung! Deckung! Hinlegen! Halt!
Feuer! Sperrfeuer! Los!
Achtung! Deckung! Hinlegen! Halt!
Feuer! Sperrfeuer! Los!
Achtung! Deckung! Hinlegen! Halt!

Is it just me or the lyrics can’t be copied?
Thanks man! you’re awesome! <3
u make my day! :D
You’re so welcome :D
Glad I could help!
Thanks for the translation.
There is a little something that I have a problem with. The line “Masa ni farusu” I know farusu is only the furigana and you translate it as false but I think he word farce would fit more in this context.
You’re very welcome!
I flip-flopped on this a bit because of phrasing, but you’re absolutely correct. Update made~
No problem I only saw by chance.
I was extremely bored today so I tried a complete German translation, this is translated from the English tho, so it might have a few inacuracies.
Feuer! Sperrfeuer! Los!
Achtung! Deckung! Hinlegen! Halt!
Feuer! Sperrfeuer! Los!
Achtung! Deckung! Hinlegen! Halt!
Feuer! Sperrfeuer! Los!
Achtung! Deckung! Hinlegen! Halt!
Sie hören sicherlich das Geräusch ihrer Waffe
Die Stimmen der Maden, die widerstehen
Stampf sie aus! Stampf sie aus!
Männer, was ist unsere Mission?
Vernichtung!
Dann eure Seele!
Jede faser eures seins, Einen triumphierenden Schrei!
Dann eure Seele!
Jede faser eures seins, Einen triumphierenden Schrei!
Feuer! Sperrfeuer! Los!
Achtung! Deckung! Hinlegen! Halt!
Feuer! Sperrfeuer! Los!
Achtung! Deckung! Hinlegen! Halt!
Wait.. The lyrics changed? Is this the official one now?
Yep, this is official now!
Maybe you could add a label for official lyrics. On the other hand it would be painful to check the existing lyrics ^^’
We actually just added this feature last week! :o Check out the red icon up top (mouse over or long-press to see the meaning in English).
Thanks for the translation, but i don’t hear the line “naze honoo no naka susundeyuku no ka”
See my post below; note that (1) a proper stereo reproduction makes it *a lot* easier to hear the part; (2) the shift might be to the left, my headphones are a bit disoriented :P
You’re very welcome^^
The line is sung a bit early, in the background of Tanya’s speech.
Sorry for the repetitive posts, but I’ve also noticed several disputable points in the Japanese parts as well:
1. 法施 might actually be a slightly shortened 砲声 , as in, the adversary’s artillery sounds, then metaphor-ed as the 抵抗するウジの声だ just afterwards.
: I don’t hear this part in the video above; was it part of another source?
3. 国のためだ! sounds like it’s sung 国のためか? ; the former fits better with the lyrics in point 2 present, but the latter may also fit if 2 is omitted, to make that line read “Ridiculous! …For the sake of our country?” (Portraying Tanya’s conflict between her slight inner lack of patriotism, and her outer acting to achieve her personal goals…?)
I thought it may be useful to have alternatives mentioned in the discussion, even if we decide to wait for the official lyrics.
I would be grateful if you could consider these as well, when you have the time for them. Thanks!
My apologies, I’ve figured out the answer for point 2; it’s very faint in the video above, and behind the previous shouting lyrics as well, but still present. The problem is that the hard-to-hear lyrics is shifted heavily to the right stereo, and monaural videos (like the one above, as well as many others) seem to only weakly reproduce this. One properly stereo-sound video I’ve found is [omitted], where the said part is *much* easier to notice.
On a related note, point 3 seems completely irrelevant now, so please ignore it as well.
Point 1 still seems likely (and much more natural) though, and so I’d be grateful for its consideration.
Seems very plausible – I will verify when I get home from work.
Thanks for the input! ^^
Yeah, that’s spot on – I kinda blew right through it (大砲だけに :p)
Much better now ヽ(^o^)丿
Thank you for the transliteration.
I was looking for the lyrics to the German incantation, but most other places omitted these…
However, in the second word of the first line, I think I hear a “V” sound, and so think
“Feuer! Schwerem Feuer! Los!”
may fit the sounding better…?
But I am no expert at German, and so I await further suggestions…
I hear a bit of that sound as well, but my German team and I are still on the fence. I’ll run that word by them as well – thanks!
German translator here! Thanks for your suggestion, it’s certainly a possibility, then again that word could just be about anything, it’s really hard to hear unfortunately. Grammatically correct it would be “Schweres Feuer” but that’s not an actual military term like “heavy fire” would be in English. For now we might as well just keep our version and see what the official lyrics say once they’re out :)
Thank you both for your replies. It may have been the case that there was a mistranslation going from Japanese -> English -> German, but then I agree it’s probably better to wait for the official lyrics. Fingers crossed the lyrics book will include this part of the song, since occasionally these background-chorus-type lyrics happen to be omitted…
So true – I hope they’re listed too!
After looping the audio a bit more, I’m hearing シュレゲン (schleggen?) as the word before “Halt”. This may be a badly pronounced “Schleichen”, but again I guess we should wait for the official release here as well…
Greetings from Germany.
to me it most sounds like “Feuersperre, Feuer, Los! Achtung, Deckung, Hinlegen, Halt!”
I’ve just received the CD, and the official lyrics are (as above) basically what you’ve pointed out; I find it quite amazing you made out the -sperr- bit! (I still can’t hear it as such…)
i don’t think its possible to hear that, because it doesn’t sound like it in the slightest. i wrote down what i heard (“superu”) and with the knowledge that japanese doesn’t allow for two consonants in a row, a bit of liberty, as well as a lot of free time while hearing this song on repeat, i came to the conclusion, that sperre is the closest actual word that makes thematic sense. I still don’t understand why it’s “superu” and not “supere” though.
After more repeated listening to the part, I still hear a b/v sound in there, making it sound like シュベルン(“shu be ru n”) to me. As for this, I have a slight feeling that the pronunciation directions in Japanese may have been misread somewhere, from シュペル(“shu pe ru”) to シュベル(“shu be ru”), where visibly the ぺ and the ベ is sometimes difficult to tell apart. Only a speculation, the truth we’ll never know…
Personally, from the true pronunciation, I would transcribe the part as シュペアー(“shu pe a- “), but if trying to emphasize the -rr- bit, I would instead write it as シュペル(“shu pe ru”); why I would choose “ru” and not “ra” or “re” I’m not sure, but the “a-” sound cut off by a “r” sound sounds closest to “ru” to me. …Do we have any linguists in the room?
