Show me love? Prove it now!
I can’t allow
Our relationship
To remain uncertain
“Let’s find the answer”
A paradox
Born of your hand in mine
Even after 7 million years
It seems no one can prove this theory
Everyone keeps hiding away
The conditions that define love
But if it’s a route that will take me to you
I’ll go, following an algorithm that depicts the shortest path
Show me love? Prove it now!
Make it clear to me!
Is it a zero, or a one?
That’s the biggest question!
The variable on Love’
Is causing some problems…
If we were measuring the warmth
Produced from your hand in mine
We should be able to find the average
Then why does the right side of this graph keep rising…?
I just can’t solve
This paradox
If you were to show me you feel the same
Then even the negative of being apart
Would be two negatives
Resulting in a positive
If it’s a route that I can walk together with you,
Then I’d want the longest path. But that’s a hard one to figure out…
Show me love? Prove it now!
Is this an argument? Or a counterargument?
If we can’t even be certain about that
The “why”s will just keep increasing
Until they fill up
Our entire whiteboard
I observed your face
Peering through a beaker
Somehow that’s all it took
To fill it with drops of water
I just can’t explain
This paradox
PARADOX
What came first? {I saw it in a dream}?
Or did {Love} come first, giving me the dream?
No matter how much I inspect it
I’ll just be going around in circles
The amount of time I spend thinking of you
Just keeps on increasing…
I want to learn everything I can about this inexplicable feeling
While standing right by your side
That’s right, for as long as it takes to finish reciting Pi
Show me love? Prove it now!
Make it clear to me!
Is it a zero, or a one?
That’s the biggest question!
The variable on Love’
Is causing some problems…
If we were measuring the warmth
Produced from your hand in mine
We should be able to find the average
The right side of the graph keeps rising…
I just can’t solve
