This sleepy morning repeats every time I awake,
As I fasten my collar tightly;
When I cross through the door to my classroom, I can step forth with the slightest bit of pride.
In the midst of such an everyday life, a wind came whisking through.
I had a feeling I could hear it,
I had a feeling I could sense it,
Within this trembling chest.
I had a feeling it was on its way –
Many millions of stars beginning to disappear…
I sent them on their way,
Waving my hand,
In relief.

I look down at the corners of the halls below, notice everyone is busy cleaning,
And I find it quite strange…
Time within me has stopped,
But it’s as if I’m living in a different world;
The dust is piling up like packed snow.
I had a feeling it was waiting for me,
I had a feeling it was calling to me –
I had a feeling I’d finally found,
This trembling moment.
Lost memories were called awake;
A story,
Of eternity,
And its end.

Before I knew it, I was running –
You were pulling me along by the hand.
Yesterday was far away and tomorrow was right before us;
Our hearts danced to see it so clearly!

I had a feeling I could hear it,
I had a feeling I could sense it,
Within this trembling chest.
I had a feeling it was on its way –
A new sun, going beyond thousands of mornings!
I had a feeling it was waiting for me,
I had a feeling it was calling to me –
I had a feeling this trembling soul,
Had finally found it:
The day when everything will vanish, like many millions of dreams;
I sent them on their way,
Waving my hand,
In gratitude.

Questa mattina sonnolenta si ripete ogni volta che mi sveglio,
Mentre abbottono il mio colletto più stretto;
Quando attraverso la porta della mia classe, posso fare un passo avanti con un minimo di orgoglio.
Nel mezzo di una vita di tutti i giorni, arrivò un forte vento.
Avevo la sensazione di poterlo sentire,
Avevo la sensazione di poterlo percepire,
In questo petto tremante.
Avevo la sensazione che fosse sulla buona strada –
Molti milioni di stelle iniziano a sparire…
Le ho mandate per la loro strada,
Salutando con la mia mano,
Con sollievo.

Guardo verso il basso gli angoli della sala, notando che tutti sono impegnati a pulire,
E lo trovo piuttosto strano…
Il tempo in me si è fermato,
Ma è come se stessi vivendo in un mondo diverso:
La polvere si sta accumulando come neve raccolta.
Avevo la sensazione che stesse aspettando me,
Avevo la sensazione che mi stesse chiamando –
Avevo la sensazione di aver finalmente trovato,
Questo momento tremante.
Memorie perdute furono risvegliate;
Una storia,
Dell’eternità,
e della sua fine.

Prima di rendermene conto, stavo correndo –
Mi stavi tirando con te per la mano.
Il passato era così lontano e il domani era proprio davanti a noi;
I nostri cuori danzarono per vederlo così chiaramente!

Avevo la sensazione di poterlo sentire,
Avevo la sensazione di poterlo percepire,
In questo petto tremante.
Avevo la sensazione che fosse sulla buona strada –
Un nuovo sole, che va oltre migliaia di mattine!
Avevo la sensazione che stesse aspettando me,
Avevo la sensazione che mi stesse chiamando –
Avevo la sensazione che quest’anima tremante,
L’avesse finalmente trovato:
Il giorno in cui tutto svanirà, come milioni di sogni;
Li ho mandati per la loro strada,
Salutandoli con la mano,
Con gratitudine.
