So many pages have been used, filled with descriptions of our emotions
But for some reason, I can’t seem to find the words to fill this one sentence
Inserting a bookmark of pressed flowers, I ride a disposable bicycle with you
Half-forgotten bricks I piled up only to tear them down again
I’m dragged toward the equivalent, the sky so blue it was almost frightening
But once we’ve tired of playing, we’ll probably never remember it again
And now, that’s how a bundle of sunlight’s been pushed on me
Saying, “please let us see each other again,” even though we’re still right there,
Is crazy
Turning a page with my palm, using my mouth to fasten the friendship bracelet
Hey, today’s another same kind of day We can talk on the phone if it rains
And so right now, to you (my friendship bracelet fell, unnoticed)
I force my kindness on you (but for some reason, I still can’t say it)
It’s crazy
All would come crashing down if I chose one
You laughed and acted silly as you said that was love
Glad I made it on time The city adamantly pretended not to notice and fell asleep
Let’s go to the place where the half-forgotten bricks have been piled up
We’ll run up a hill overlooking the ocean and with a frighteningly blue sky
A soda bottle in my right hand, my left hand is forever searching for you
With both hands filled, I embrace the spring wind
Time is still ours “Today’s a day we’ll eventually forget”
Wish you wouldn’t say something like that
And that’s how this moment comes towards me, no questions asked
The two of us are right over there “That’s right, the words to fill the empty space is…”
No, I won’t say it out loud yet
Turning a page with my palm, using my mouth to unfasten the friendship bracelet
The first train, happiness scattered here and there Hey, today’s another same kind of day
It’s so crazy
