1. can i correct some of your lyrics?
   “saigo ni warau no wa, ore JYANAKUTE ii”
   it should be translated into
   “i don’t care whether i’m NOT the one laughing in the end”
   because jyanakute = jyanai = not (negative)

   • Please allow me to clarify the Japanese error you are making:

     笑う = to laugh
     おれじゃない = not me

     最後に笑「う」のは「おれじゃなくて」いい
     I don’t care whether I’m the one laughing in the end.

       Let’s underline the じゃなぅて part
       If it were translated words to words
       最後 last 笑う laugh 俺 me じゃなくて not (me) いい good (okay)
       Then literally translated
       最後に笑うのは俺じゃなくていい
       最後に in the end 笑うのは the one who laugh 俺じゃなくて not me いい okay
       There you have it
       “It’s ok whether i’m not the one who laugh in the end”

       • I see what your point of contention is now.
         It’s important to understand the flexibility inherent in translating an entire phrase to a fluent and fluid idea, rather than trying to pick things apart tense by tense.

         I was however considering adopting a different approach to this phrasing that will address your concern. Thank you for the input!

   1st line – soko ni tatsu (not koko)
   8th line – sadame to yara ni (not unmei)
   13th line – sadame wo koete (not unmei o koete)
